Ruth Kamau
Headteacher & Program Manager, Kenya
Ruth is a community mobilizer and a specialist in Early Childhood Education. She has over 21 years of experience in teaching (10 years as a Headteacher). As the Kenyan Program Manager, Ruth wears many different hats; the planner, the problem-solver, the educator, and the liaison with different local government bodies, parents, and community representatives. She has the skills to communicate with various people, handle budgets and logistics, and keeps all educational programs running. She works hand in hand with our Executive Director and helps oversee the day-to-day running of the school. Ruth considers teaching to be her passion.
